When I bought my shoes,
they looked so happy.
Like they were happy
to be together.
After years,
when they were dirty,
I was thinking about buying a new pair of shoes.
Then I bought a new pair of shoes.
Every time I saw the old ones in my room
they looked so sad.
Like they were sad
that I’m not using them anymore.
But when I think about it,
it is like my old shoes got too old to work,
like my grandparents
and so they went on pension.
But they are still in love.
